Trekking and climbing are not simply a walk from one step to another heading towards a final destination. It is more a gradual experiences of Nepal’s diversity in terms of geography, mountains snow or ice, different ethnic group of peoples, religions, flora, fauna, and cultures.
Trekking and climbing choice depend on time available, budget, experience and personal preferences. We are dealing everything you need to know of Nepal, who can secure one of your trips, while you mentally prepare yourself for the unknown encounter.

Trekking styles:
1. A fully – equipped organized camping treks; primarily consists of essential logistical arrangements at remote mountains including Sherpas, porters, guides, cooks, kitchen boys, food tents, sleeping mattress, sleeping bags, transport to and form the trekking starting points, trekking permits, staffs insurance, and so on. We provide a choice of itineraries and necessary information on trekking, safety, health care and etc.
2. A classic tea house lodges organized trek; is the most common form of trek, so called after the tea shops that doubled as lodges at night during the initial stages of trekking in Nepal. Depending on the size of the trekking group, and the amount of personal gear, a guide and porters are required. Sleep in tea house lodges at every night and have meals at their restaurant are getting famous in these recent days in order to reduce operating prices. Personal sleeping bag (depend on season) is necessary to carry.
Altitude factors above 3000 meters:
Low oxygen, low pressure, lack of fluid in the body, hypothermia, and rapid ascent.
Types of Mountain sickness and its symptoms:
- Acute mountain sickness: Headache, nausea, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, tiredness.
- High altitude pulmonary edema: dry cough, increasing shortness of breath at rest, high pulse rate, drowsiness, less urine output, chest pain, exhaustion blueness of face, lips and nails.
- High altitude cerebral edema: severe headache, hallucinations, changes in behaviors, double vision, irritability, mental confusion, ataxia, vomiting and unconsciousness.
Insurance: Clients must be protected by their own insurance that covers accidents, health, emergence evacuation including helicopter and loss or damage to personal effects. The rescue 3 sitters helicopter charge US $ 1800 per hour. Generally, helicopter based is in Kathmandu and count take off time to land time to and form basis.
Do and don’t while on a trek and climb:
Do: walk slowly, drink more fluid at least 4 ltrs a day, and look after each other.
Don’t: drink alcohol, smoke, take sleeping pills, carry heavy pack, ascend rapidly, or worry.

Cancellation:
If due to a true emergence you are unable to go on the tours / treks / mountaineering expedition / rafting / Tibet or India tours expending you have chosen to join then there will be 30 % cancellation fee. Notification of cancellation less than 7 days prior to trip departure and there will be a cancellation fee of 50 % of the trip cost unless we are able to fill you space on the trip. There will be no refund if you leave a trip for any reason, either voluntarily or involuntarily with in seven days from the day of trip starting date or after the trip has started. Any funds will be subject to the foreign exchange policies of the government of Nepal and Tibet. Payment in full required prior to departure.

time of booking. I also recognize that I am undertaking a journey that contains a significant element of personal risk and that risk does sometimes become a reality. I acknowledge the relative remoteness, the tough traveling and weather conditions, the limited and relatively primitive medical and other services as well as the grater potential dangers compared with my usual daily life or conventional holidays travel. Not only do I accept these realities, I have chosen to seek them out. I recognize Exotic Mt. Treks Pvt. Ltd. responsibility to me and I accept the authority and decisions of Exotic Mt. Treks Pvt. Ltd, in respect to the journey that I have applied to join.
