Kathmandu


There is no doubt that one of the main attractions of old Kathmandu consists precisely in strolling on foot and at random through the maze of narrow streets. Here we have Lanes and courtyards, to let one-self be taken in by the mediaeval, leisurely atmosphere of the bazaar (all kind of goods). Patan


Patan is believed to be the oldest Buddhist cities in the world. It was the Capital of an independent kingdom. You may count nine temples near the Royal palace seven of which are facing it. Three not to miss Chock are: Sundari Chock (Young girls courtyard), Mul Choka (the main courtyard) and Man Keshab (is part of the Royal Palace itself).More info

Bhaktapur


The third valley’s of former royal cities is another of kathmadnu’s rivals. It is situated about 16 km from the capital. Like Patan and Kathmadnu it contains and impressive number of artistic treasures. At the same time Bhadgaon deserves to be called the most mediaeval city of the valley.More info

Day 02 - Xegar 4050 m, 200 km :
Day drive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world crossing over Lalung La 5050 m, weather permitting with breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt. Everest (8848m and Mt Xishapagma 8012m but dwarfed by the vastness of the Tibetan plateau. Over night at hotel.

Day 03 - Xigatze 3900 m, 244 km:
Continue scenic drive crossing over Gyatchu La 5220 m, the highest pass en route to Lhasa via Lhatse from where a road to Mt. Kailash Bifuracates to the west. Over night at hotel.

Day 04 Tue, Gyantse 3950 m, 90 km:
Morning sightseeing to the Panchen Lama's Tashilhumpu Monastery. Drive to Gyantse and visit to the Kumbum Stupa and Phalkor Monastery. Over night at Hotel.

Day 05: Wed, Lhasa 3650, 261 km:
Full day picturesque drive crossing over Korola 5010m, Kamvbala 4794 m, colourful Yamdrok lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahma Putra (Yarung Tsangpo. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06 Thu and day 07 Fri, in Lhasa, 3650:
Two full day sightseeing tour to Lhasa including Jokhang Temple, barkhor Bazar, potala Palace, Drepung and sera Monasteries . Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Sat, fly to Kathmandu:
Early in the morning drive to Gongar airport for departure flight to Kathmandu or to your on ward destination.
