EVEREST CIRCUIT TREK-28 Days

This trek is named world highest mountain in the world Everest 8848m. And several other well know mountains such as Lhotse, Cho oyu, Pumari, Amadablam, Mera, Lobuche, Thamserku, Kususm Kangaru, and many more. This trekking is for close-up mountain views and trek can be started from Jiri after 10 hours drive or fly to Lukla from Kathmandu.

Vegetation in the trek is varied from lower level to high altitudes. Pine and hemlock are in the lower elevation. Fir juniper, birch, rhododendron are at mid elevations. Scrub and alpine plant communities are higher up. Bare rock and snow above trees line. Rhododendrons bloom in spring although flora is most colorful during the monsoon.

The wild animals most likely to be seen are Himalayan tahr, ghoral, musk dear, Himalayan black bear, serow, pika, jackal, langur, and others. Provides a habit for, at least 118 species birds. The most common Impeyen pheasant (the national birds of Nepal), blood pheasant, cheer pheasant, red and yellow billed and snow pigeon. Fairly common birds are The Himalayan griffon, lammergier, snow pardridge , skylark, and many others.

Summer is cool and wet. Winter is cold and dry. Climatically, the best time to visit for trekkers in between from September to May except for January and February. Populated famed Sherpa people. They are original from Tibet in between 15th - 16th century AD. Their lives are interwoven with the teaching of Buddhism. There are few main settlements on trek trail. There are temporary settlements in the upper valleys where the Sherpa graze their life stock during the summer season.

The economy of this area used to be agriculture, livestock herding, and trade with Tibet. With the coming of international mountaineering expeditions in the 1950 A.D. the region also attract large number of trekkers. Today Sherpa and other few local Nepali people economy increasingly dependent on tourism.
