LANGTANG TREK

Langtang Trek 9 days:

The Langtang valley, which is reached from the road end at Dhunche or Sybrobensi,
offers an opportunity to explore villages and monasteries as well as glaciers, with
magnificent view, of the mountains. Permission from the Lamas must be gained before
visiting any monasteries and a small donation is expected. The Langtang valley trek
is the most visited part of this trek and for those who do not wish to camp,
accommodation in lodges is available. Gosaikunda (frozen lake), an area of high
altitude lakes, is reached either from Dhunche or Sundarijol. Thousand of Hindus
pilgrims visit these lakes during Jani Purnema festival in the month of August.
Believed that this lake have been created by Lord Shiva. Out standing view of
Langtang Lerung, Himal Chuli and many more are visible from the trail.

1. Kathmandu to Sybrobensi

2. Sybrobensi to Lama Hotel

3. Lama Hotel to Langtang valley

4. Langtang valley to Kanchengonba

5. Kanchengonba to Tserkuri peak back to Kanchengonba

6. Kanchengonba to Goretabela

7. Ghoretabela to Thulo Sybro

8. Thulo Sybro to Dhunche

9. Dhunche Rani Pauwa than to Kathmandu
