Yala Peak Itinerary (10 Days)
Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (1,462m)
- Drive 9–10 hours via scenic hilly roads
- Pass through Trishuli and Dhunche
- Overnight at Syabru Bensi, the trek starting point
Day 2: Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2,410m)
- Trek alongside the Langtang River
- Enter Langtang National Park
- Steady ascent through dense forests
Day 3: Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (3,330m)
- Cross rhododendron and oak forests
- Pass Ghoda Tabela and witness the first views of Langtang Lirung
- Reach Langtang village, rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake
Day 4: Langtang Valley to Kyanjin Gompa (3,730m)
- Trek through yak pastures and traditional villages
- Reach Kyanjin Gompa, home to an ancient monastery and cheese factory
- Majestic views of surrounding peaks begin to emerge
Day 5: Acclimatization Day – Explore Tserko Ri (4,984m)
- Optional hike to Tserko Ri for panoramic views
- Acclimatization and rest day
- Prepare gear and body for upcoming climb
Day 6: Kyanjin Gompa to Yala Peak Base Camp (~4,800m)
- Trek to the Base Camp of Yala Peak

Day 7: Summit Yala Peak (5,732m) and descend to Kyanjin Gompa
